Designing for Dignity

Menstruation is an issue of dignity, equality, and human rights. But little attention has been paid to the menstruation experiences of many queer and gender-diverse individuals in research, policies, and healthcare institutions.

Designing for Dignity features evidence gathered through a pioneering study by IGE-SRH on the menstrual health experiences, issues, and needs of queer menstruators in Nigeria.

Through Designing for Dignity, we call upon policy-makers, healthcare professionals, development partners, and activists to develop systems that recognize dignity and equality in menstrual health.
