IGE-SRH is pleased to present the Guideline on Abortion Care in Nigeria, a resource created with the intention to facilitate the promotion of equitable, dignified and non-discriminatory provision of abortion care as well as discussions on reproductive autonomy, bodily integrity, and health care provision.
This guideline offers some important insights into the issues which should be considered to ensure the advancement of inclusive abortion care in Nigeria. This includes a human rights-based approach to abortion care, gender equality, non-discrimination and the importance of addressing specific needs of marginalized groups which often experience challenges in accessing health care services.
