The Initiative for Gender Equality & Sexual Reproductive Health (IGE-SRH) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Assistant to support the organization’s financial management, compliance, and internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial documentation
- Monitor expenses and support budget tracking
- Prepare routine financial reports and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory obligations
- Support internal and external audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or compliance roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Prior NGO or donor-funded project experience is an added advantage.
